ShadePro — Foldable Magnetic Car Window Privacy Curtain & Sunshade

This is a great shade! Slim/easily folded and a perfect fit for my Mazda CX5. It keeps my car much cooler than the last bulky one I had- which didn’t even cover the entire windshield. This provides full coverage and makes me feel like my car is more secure. However, I’m giving this 4 stars. After having it about six months, the Velcro has ripped off about halfway from the side which it fastens to, making a loop around the rearview mirror. Considering the low cost I will like buy again. Just curious if there’s an easy fix, because otherwise it’s in GREAT shape!!

Fits 2021 Mazda CX-5 without gaps. Easy on and off and folds back into the included storage pouch without an issue. It helps with temperature control, and after 6 months of use, still looks new.

There are quite a lot of generic sunshades available for sale, however, I wanted one specifically made for the Mazda CX-5. This KUST shade fits our recently-purchased 2019 CX-5 like a glove (the 2019 model is identical to the 2017-2023 CX-5s so this sunshade will fit all of those years models perfectly). The cut out for the rearview mirror has a Velcro fastener to help secure the top of the shade to the windshield but really your driver side and passenger side sun visors do the lion's share of the work pinning the top of the sunshade to the windshield glass. The periphery of the KUST sunshade has a little extra material so that you can pretty much get a total blackout of sunlight hitting the windshield. So, functionally, this is an excellent sunshade that does exactly what it is designed to do and is specifically made for post-2016 Mazda CX-5s. The downsides are relatively minor:(1) Folding the shade back down to its very small package size is a challenge. You first fold it in half and then attempt to do a figure-eight twisty motion to get it to one-quarter of the full size. I watched the video showing how to do this several times and did manage to do it but it's not at all simple or easy to do (not for me anyway). I docked one review star for this;(2) This "twisty shrink" design appears to be fairly common with sunshades available here on Amazon and most of them have an attached elastic loop that you can use to secure the shade in its folded mini size. This KUST shade does not have one of these elastic loops so, when you manage to get it down to its compact size, you must place it within the included case to prevent it from springing open again. The missing elastic loop is an odd omission and requires you to have that carrying case readily available; and(3) This isn't so much a criticism of this unit in particular as it is of this type of sunshade design in general and that is how relatively clumsy they are to install. You're not going to easily unfold this shade inside the car and place it into the windshield area. If it's just a bit windy outside, unfolding it there before sliding it inside is tricky because when open, this thing is essentially a sail that will easily catch the wind (so be careful). I'm sure that, with a bit of practice, installing this sunshade will become a little easier. These three criticisms notwithstanding, if you have a post-2016 Mazda CX-5 and want a sunshade that is perfectly sized for your vehicle, this is a great choice. Of my three criticisms, the first and third are going to be issues with all of the sunshades that are similarly designed (twist-to-shrink) and many of them are generically sized so you'll likely have a lot of excess material hanging about the interior of your vehicle. If you want something that will protect the interior of your CX-5 from heat and light and looks tailor-made for your vehicle, this KUST sunshade is a great choice.

This is a truly excellent way to reduce the radiant heat in your vehicle. It perfectly fits my CX 5. Heat is a killer to computers and your dash, this will help extend the life of both. If you want to maintain your vehicle this is a valuable product to save you lots of your hard-earned money. You will feel the difference on any hot summer day.

The results are a bit exaggerated and misleading about the temperature difference this makes compared to the shiny metallic sunshades. I haven't noticed any difference in temperatures in the Texas heat. If it were shiny enough to reflect the sun, it would make a bigger difference, but it isn't shiny at all. Now, for what I do like about it. Unlike the metallic one, these won't shed all over your dash after a while. It also blocks a lot more light. It's like having a blackout curtain for your windshield because it fits better and is double-sided. It took me a few weeks to get the hang of folding it so it would fit back in the included bag, but it's actually very easy once you've figured it out.

Works great and easy to store.

It covers most of the area BUT not specifically designed for Mazda CX5, Average product but not to the value of its price. No thickness insulation, Almost similar to the other light products but with higher cost.

Bought this for my daughter’s first car. I have to say I’m impressed. I got into her car this morning and it was a lot cooler than I thought it would be. The shade fits her car great and covers the glass in its entirety. The storage cover that doubles as a steering wheel cover is an added bonus. I may get one for my car.

I couldn’t be happier with this sunshade for my Mazda CX-5. I live in the desert near Palm Springs, CA, so a shade like this is a must. I finally got tired of my cheap-a** Dollar Store windshield shade and bought a decent one. THIS is that one. It looks nice and keeps the car WAY cooler. It’s made to perfectly fit the Mazda windshield, and no need to even wrap the cords around the visors. It stays in place by just holding it in place with the visors. . it’s solidly built and durable, it works like it’s supposed to. They also make them to perfectly fit many other cars. I’d recommend it— I even did exactly that for my volunteer buddy at the animal shelter, for her Toyota Highlander. Get ONE!

This sun shade fits my car perfectly and actually covers every corner. It truly makes the biggest difference when getting into my car and it’s not scolding hot. Plus it provides really good protection for the dashboard and steering wheel. I needed this product years ago!

I purchased this for my new Mazda CX-5. Fits perfectly and so far it's been very adorable

Perfect fit, don't hesitate..

Easy to put in and best of all it fits like it should.

I love it and my friends are very happy with the fit . I recommend it for 2021.5 mazda cx-5 kuro gs edition and other 2021mazda. Great fit as per advertised. 👌 💯%.

El producto tiene buena calidad y se ajusta Perfecto, el precio se me hizo excesivo pensé que sería un poco más grueso o de un material más robusto para su costo

Me gusta la cobertura y el material
